Stanley George

Stanley Raymond George , loving husband and father, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on May 8, 2023 at his home. Stanley was born in Arlington, Georgia on September 16, 1969, to the late John L. Hall and Lonzy Mae George (Brown) of Arlington,Georgia. Hard work and dedication was instilled into him at a young age by his mother and stepfather, Vaugnell Brown.

Stanley attended the Calhoun County School system. Later he became an employee at Damascus Peanut Company where he worked for numerous years. Stanley gave his life to Christ at a young age. Over the years he grew a passion for gardening. He enjoyed watching westerns and sports. Also, he loved spending time with his family. 

In 1992, Stanley met the love of his life Daisy Williams George in Arlington, Ga. Together they had two children, Donxavious Williams and Raven Williams. 

Stanley was predeceased by grandparents Johnny B. and Johnnie Mae George, uncles: Charlie C. Wade (Estella), Floyd Wade, Hubert George (Vernell), Leroy George, Willie James George and aunt Johnnie Mae George.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother,wife, two children, two sisters: Catherine (Artise) Stanley (Miami,FL), Stephanie Grant (Albany,GA) and two brothers: Anshwab (Lavonne) McCray (Newton.GA) and Kim Grant (FL); one uncle: Jack (Gwen) Grice (Jacksonville,FL); four aunts Mattie C. Grice, Martha Miller (all from Jacksonville,FL), Mary Ann George and Gwen George (all from Arlington,GA); three sisters in love Shirley, Mary, and Gloria Williams (all from Arlington,GA); one brother in love Dennis Williams (Indianapolis,IN); two special cousins Greg Wade and Tony George, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, Khloe Williams (goddaughter), and Nicole Thornton (great niece).
