IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharlene
Oliver
September 26, 1965 – November 15, 2024
Sharlene Mosely Oliver, 59, was called home to eternal rest on November
15, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, family, and friends. Sharlene
was born September 26, 1965, in Blakely (Early County), Georgia, to
the late Murry Lanier Mosely, II, and Irene George Mosely Martin.
Sharlene was the 2nd of 8 children.
Sharlene accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age
and joined Timmons New Prospect Church, later she attended Miracle
Deliverance Center Church, and after marriage she attended Bethel CME
Church. She believed that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior.
On June 6, 1984, Sharlene met the love of her life, Je?ery James Oliver,
and on December 6, 2004, Je?ery James Oliver and Sharlene Mosely
were united in Holy Matrimony, and to this union two sons were born,
Je?ery James Oliver, Jr., and Jeremi Oliver. Her husband was her lover,
her protector, her provider, and her friend. Where she went-he went,
when she hurt-he hurt, the love that they shared was inseparable, a love
that would never fade away. Whatever they had, they shared with each
other; what she had, he had; when they made decisions, they made them
together; their love was inseparable; no matter what, their love stood the
test of time. They were best friends. A friend sticks closer than a brother
and loves at all times, and that is what he was to her. He made sure that
her house was her home.
Sharlene grew up in Arlington and later moved to Leary with the love of
her life, then to Albany. She graduated from Calhoun County High in 1983
and attended Albany Technical College and Bainbridge College. She began
her work career at Sunshine Metal. Culinary arts and cooking were her
passion, and she worked for several major restaurants. She was later
employed by Bob's Candy and worked there until its closing.
Sharlene loved family, family gatherings, ?shing, and styling hair. She was
also a guitarist and a singer. She was straightforward and humorous. She
loved her friends, but most of all she loved her family. Her mother-in-law,
Dora, was also her best friend, whom she often lovingly referred to as her
second mom. Her husband and two boys were her pride and joy; they
were her everything.
Sharlene was preceded in death by her father, the Late Murry Mosely, II;
farther-in-law, the Late Edward James Flowers; maternal grandparents,
the late Eloys (Margaret) George; paternal grandparents, the Late Murry
Lanier Mosely; the Late Annie Cleave Hightower; and one brother-in-law,
Gary (Regena) Flowers.
Sharlene leaves to cherish loving memories of her beautiful life to HER
Je?, her soulmate, best friend, the love of her life, husband, the father
of their children, Je?ery James Oliver of Albany, two sons, her heartbeats,
