Mandy Barnes transitioned to her eternal resting place on Monday, January

27, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1937 to the late Ezekiel Barnes, Sr. and

Christine Barnes.

She was educated in the Kestler School System of Damascus, Georgia and

attended Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Mandy enjoyed dancing as one of her favorite pastimes. Her favorite tune

was titled 'Green Onion'. She also liked watching Walker, Texas Ranger while

sipping on a Sunkist orange soda and we can not forget her Cannon Ball

tobacco and her snu? as part of the things she enjoyed.

Mandy, most of all, was a person who loved people and the community loved

her as well.

She was preceded in death by her son, Milton Lee Barnes; brothers: George

Barnes and Julian Barnes; sisters: Deretha Barnes, Till Barnes and Dorothy

Bell.

Mandy leaves to cherish her memories three sons: Will (Diane) Barnes of

Albany, Georgia, Willie Lee Barnes and George "Lil George" Barnes of

Arlington, Georgia; one grandchild, Tamia Reid; siblings: Ezekiel (Anna)

Barnes, Jr. of Blakely, Georgia and Esther Mae Barnes of Arlington, Georgia;

and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
