Johnese transitioned to be with the Lord. Johnese, affectionately

known to her brothers as "Cool," leaves a long legacy of love and precious memories to her

siblings: Sis. Ruby Davis of Ruskin, Florida, Sis.Delois Marshal of Leary, Ga. Sis. Ruthie

Dorsey of Stone Mountain, Ga. Bro.Tommy Threadcraft (Jenerva) of Albany,Ga. Bro. Dennis

Threadcraft of Arlington, Ga and Bro. Morris Threadcraft (Eunice) of Lithonia, Ga.

Johnese was a port in the storm and safe harbor to her beloved and abundant nieces,

nephews, cousins and friends and former students. She was "that auntie" to her nieces and

nephews. She was particularly close to her dear sweet aunt sister Elsie Hopkins of Albany Ga as

well as to Ruby Threadcraft, a dear niece who lived with her for many years and was raised as a

sister and a daughter. Sister-in-laws Geraldine Threadcraft and Margaret Threadcraft of St.

Petersburg, Fla. And an aunt, Elsie Hopkins of Albany, Ga.

Johnese was preceded in death by her parents Morris Lee and Inez Evans Threadcraft, her

sister Elizabeth Newton and five brothers: M.C. Threadcraft, Nursery Lee Threadcraft, BC

Threadcraft, Alvin Threadcraft and Solomon Threadcraft.

Johnese will be truly missed by many, but her loving family will keep her loving, sweet

blessed memories in our hearts.

God saw one of his earthly Angels, tired and weary, so he sent one his Heavenly Angels

to bring her Home to Him so she could be at Peace and her soul could be at rest.

Rest in peace Sister, Auntie, Cousin, and Friend.
