Today we honor the life of Mrs. Corene

Robinson, a loving daughter, wife, mother,

and friend.  The world was blessed with her

birth on March 29, 1926, in Baker County,

Georgia to Dinah Hightower and Eugene

Sutton.  Corene gave her life to Christ at an

early age and was baptized at Mount Zion

Missionary Baptist Church.

On October 30, 1943, Corene united in Holy

Matrimony to the late Hardy T. Robinson

(H.T), unto whom 10 children were born.

Preceding this loving mother in death were

5 children: Leela Mae, Albert, Drunell (Oscar),

Lillie Pearl, and Lorene.  Later in life, the

couple moved their church membership to

Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

Corene departed this life on February 6,

2025.  She leaves to cherish her memories a

loving family of 5 generations; 3 sons: Frank

D. Robinson (Dorothy), Eugene Robinson

(Jacquelyn), both of Atlanta, GA, and Hardy

A. Robinson (Tracy) of Medford, OR.; 2

daughters: Laura E. Barnett (Lindsay), and

Sandra D. Robinson, both of Atlanta, GA.; 8

Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and

an evolving number of Great Great

Grandchildren.  Her siblings include 4

brothers: J. D. Walker*, Paul Sutton (Betty),

James Sutton*, Ulysses Sutton (Delores), and

4 sisters: Thelma*, Ruthel*, Doshia*, and

Winnie Ruth* (*denotes deceased).  She also

loved a host of Family, Relatives, and Friends.
