Mrs. Anita George- Lavatte was born in Early County on Timmons Road in Arlington, Georgia on September 22, 1946 to the late Eloys George Senior, and Margaret Sapp George. Later on in her life she received her GED- High School Equivalency Diploma from Adult Education.

She met the man that she would spend the rest of life with; Bobby Davis Lavatte. They have been married for 56 years to this date.

Anita dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. For instance, she became a member of New Prospect or Timmons at a very early age. Because of her love for Christ and fellowship at New Prospect, all seven of her children and two of her grandkids became members of this church.

She enjoyed being a dedicated wife, mother, and spending time with her family. Plus, she loved taking care of her mom, solving math equations, and going to bed.

However, last year her health began to decline.

Therefore, the Lord saw that she could no longer bear the pain nor did she have the strength to continue the fight so he called her home to take her rest: On the morning of October 14, 2024, Mrs. Anita gracefully departed into the bosom of Christ at Life Bright Hospital in Blakely, GA.

Precedents in death include her father and mother; Eloys George and Margaret George;

sister and brothers Estella Wade, Dave George, and Mark George. One grandchild, Abigail Dunlap.

Those left to cherish the fondest memories: Husband Bobby Davis Lavatte, son, Bobby Christopher Lavatte Jr. daughter Mechiko Lavatte-Hill (Kim), son, Victor Lawrence Lavatte, daughter, Janice Diane Lavatte, son, Donald Eloys Lavatte, son Travis Lavatte (Tiffany)son Derrick Montrez Lavatte (Angelina).

Grandchildren: Ambrea Hill-West (Noah), Noah West Jr (NJ)Kim Hill Jr. (KJ) Keontrez Wimberly, Donavan Lavatte, Damari Lavatte, Dylan Lavatte, Carmelo Thomas, Damarius Thomas, Camyia Thomas, Alexsia Lampkin, Kimberly Hill: A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
